Hephzibah Ijeje is a 19-year-old economics student and a co-founder of Recyclift, a Nigeria based recycling project that aims to get rid of waste from the environment and generate wealth by recycling it.

David's approach has always been to create localized solutions to problems in his hometown. After winning Young Scientists Tanzania in 2018, David was able to found CutOff_Recycle, an enterprise that recycles human hair waste into agri-products.
Lion Lights
Pioneering a home grown solution to wildlife conservation Richard Turere hails from the pastoral Maasai community in Kenya. As a young boy, he was responsible for herding and caretaking his family’s herd of cattle. Because Richard’s family lives on the periphery of the unfenced Nairobi National Park, they often experienced lion attacks on their livestock, leading to devastating losses of livestock that they depend on for survival.
