Sylla Bio Et Divers is a social enterprise that exists to help Malian rural communities to develop sustainable economies. The company trains young people and women in agriculture using a model that they created – Accelerated Agroforestry. The company monitors production until maturity is reached. They then buy the crops from farmers, which they transform and refine before reselling. In the future, the company has plans to expand to Senegal and Burkina Faso.
