Business Profile

Confeitaria Gailza is a small bakery that specializes in selling cakes and pastry products. The venture also provides training to customers in pastry making and baking. It caters for birthdays, weddings, and other various functions. Confeitaria not only trains and produces pastry products, but it has positioned itself to help young girls who have financial difficulties to enrol in school. Pastry training and working at her bakery, allows them to earn a minimum monthly salary that they can put towards their education while also having access to opportunities that encourage them to own businesses. The business generates about $170 on a monthly basis and has plans to expand and increase the number of training it conducts to help girls to have their own businesses and achieve financial independence.
