Health and wellness has been a lifelong passion for Nomena, a Business Management student in Madagascar.

She founded her healthy beverage company, BOISSA , with a view to contribute to promoting healthier consumption patterns in the country.

BOISSA produces an assortment of healthy fruit juices from the native fruits of the island. The company’s objective is to raise greater awareness about the benefits of adopting healthier nutritional habits while also supporting sustainable agriculture.

Her current target market is comprised of athletes and members of other health conscious communities. Her commercial clients include various companies, a sports academy, and local supermarkets.

While her juices are currently hand pressed, she hopes to invest in a semi automatic process that can enable her to scale products to the whole of Madagascar and Africa at large.
